# Carthage

> Site éducatif trilingue (français, anglais, arabe) sur la civilisation punique de Carthage (Tunisie actuelle), d'Élissa/Didon (814 av. J.-C. selon Timée) à la chute de 146 av. J.-C. : Hannibal, les guerres puniques, la religion, l'économie, l'armée et l'héritage carthaginois dans la Tunisie d'aujourd'hui.

Le contenu s'appuie sur les sources antiques (Polybe, Tite-Live, Appien, Plutarque, Diodore, Justin, Pline l'Ancien) et sur l'archéologie, ainsi que sur les articles Wikipédia « Carthage » et « Civilisation carthaginoise » (CC BY-SA, reformulés). Les sources étant presque toutes gréco-romaines, le site signale les récits discutés, les chiffres incertains et les biais des auteurs (voir « Histoire des vainqueurs »). Chaque page existe en /fr, /en et /ar (même chemin, préfixe de langue différent).
